At KingsKids Havanese, our dogs are part of our family.

We raise only a few Champion bloodline Havanese at a time for show and for Companion homes. They live in our house with my two sons and I. They are in a loving environment where the dogs are HAPPY, CLEAN, well adjusted and HEALTHY.

We expose them to other dogs, our cat and our friends' small children so they are prepared for life with YOUR family!

Havanese are the perfect house pet in my opinion! Their popularity is increasing every day in America and around the world. WHY?

* HYPOALLERGENIC -- They don't shed and have real hair instead of the thick fur that holds in the pet dander, so people with allergies LOVE these dogs.

* PERSONALITY is perfect! -- Havanese dogs have a natural good nature and get along with anyone. They are not "one person" dogs as so many other breeds. They are very social and love to visit.

* CLEAN -- Havanese dogs don't leave hair clumps all over your house!! I LOVE that part!

* EASY TO GROOM -- Havanese have the adorable looks of the Maltese, but are much easier to care for. Unlike many other long hair breeds, a little attention goes a long way with the Havanese coat. I comb mine twice a week (occasionally once). Two of my girls have thinner coats that NEVER tangle! Carman has a wonderfully soft profuse coat that I brush twice a week and she looks great anytime! i enjoy brushing them. It gives me "lap time" with them and they loves sitting there with me while I watch TV and brush.

* PERFECT SIZE -- Havanese range from 8" tall to 11.5" tall. Small enough to cuddle up in your lap, but big enough to enjoy without worrying about breaking or dropping them!
